Students from a Women’s Studies class within the School of Language and Liberal Studies will be presenting at the United Nations NGO Commission on the Status of Women (CSW70) Forum.

The presentation, titled “Justice is Hard to Stomach: Systemic Gender Inequality in a Local Community,” explores how gender inequality is experienced at the community level and connects local realities to global conversations on gender justice.

The session will take place online via Zoom on March 13 from 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and is part of the international NGO CSW70 Forum programming. The event is hosted in collaboration with the Gender Equality Coalition of Ontario.

This presentation highlights the work of Fanshawe students engaging with global policy discussions and contributing to international dialogue on gender equality.
