Overview

Pharmacology Theory Review for Nurses

Review and update the skills and knowledge of the RN/RPN in the area of pharmacology and medication administration. Emphasis is placed on the knowledge of drug groups, both traditional and non-traditional such as natural herbs, in terms of actions, uses, adverse reactions, special considerations, and application of the nursing process. This course is offered asynchronous online through OntarioLearn. Note: Direct registration is not possible. Prospective students must be entitled to practice as an RN/RPN with the College of Nurses of Ontario. If you'd like to pursue this course, please email your CNO number to: ontariolearn@fanshawec.ca.
