Student Wellness Centre: Three floors dedicated to your wellness!

The Student Wellness Centre is home to a number of services to support student physical and mental wellness. The Centre has been designed to provide functional spaces for both individual and group services as well as specific types of services such as the Fowler Kennedy Medical Centre, pharmacy and a juice bar.

Fitness Centre

The Fitness Centre includes spaces for cardio, strength training, group exercise and a 36-foot climbing wall. Register at the Fitness Desk or online at for services included with your membership, including:

  • Move of the Week
  • Orientation and orientation follow-up
  • One InBody Assessment
  • Individual program design
  • Personal training and nutrition coaching consultations
  • Fitness classes
  • Squash
  • Workshops and seminars.

Health Services Medical Clinic

Physicians are available at the Health Services Medical Clinic (London Campus, room J1004) on weekdays for students with any illness, health concerns, birth control counselling, immunization, etc. The clinic also offers a range of medical services to support domestic and international students preparing for field placements.

In addition, the services of physicians, physiotherapists and pedorthists (orthotics) are available at the Fowler Kennedy Sports Medicine Clinic for sport-related injuries. Students can call 519-452-4230 to book an appointment.

Faith and Spirituality Centre

Fanshawe strives to serve, support, nurture and celebrate the faith and spiritual well-being of all students. For more information, visit the Faith and Spirituality Centre web page.

Group room

One large room is available to accommodate group programs, including mindfulness, meditation, stretching, yoga, group counselling, Indigenous teachings or other similar programs. This is a bookable space available for all campus community members to deliver wellness programming.

Service rooms

Three service rooms provide individual wellness services for campus community members (e.g., massage therapy).

Quiet rooms

Two small quiet rooms are available for students in need of a private space to rest, breastfeed or take a nap.

Meeting room

An open meeting room can be booked by campus community members.

Resource room

The reception area of the Centre is a self-service resource room for student to learn more about the wellness offerings at the College, as well as those in the community. This space also serves as a seating area for those waiting to receive wellness services.


Staff at the reception desk are available to answer questions and help book rooms and services.
