The tenth school/class day of the each semester is the last date for post-secondary (day) students in 15-week and 16-week programs to:
Pay the balance of your fees without penalty:
This is the last day to pay the balance of fees due for the term without any financial penalty. After this date, a $150 late fee will be applied to your account. If you still have a balance owing, please pay today to avoid the $150 late fee. (There are no extensions for this deadline; the 10th day is always the deadline each term).
Please note: If your OSAP amount does not cover all of your fees, you are responsible to pay the remaining balance by the 10th day of term to avoid the late fee.
Please visit our Fee Payment page for details about how to pay.
Withdraw:
Domestic students who withdraw within the first ten days of term may be entitled to a partial refund. Upon withdrawal, the full tuition and ancillary fees paid for the term or program will be refunded, less the non-refundable deposit and any outstanding fines or dues. After this date students are required to pay all fees for the term in full.
To withdraw, please complete this withdrawal form.
Change registration status (with approval):
Talk to your Academic Advisor or your Program Coordinator right away if you want to change from full-time to part-time for the term. To change registration status to part-time, students must first receive approval from the Academic School, and must withdraw from full-time status. A partial refund may be available if you switch before the 10th day of term. After this date, students who change status are required to pay all fees for the term in full, regardless of course load.
Apply for course credit:
If you have completed courses that provided you with similar learning experiences as another Fanshawe course, you may be eligible for internal or external course credit.
- Internal credit is for previous courses completed at Fanshawe College.
- External credit is for previous courses completed at another institution.
To apply for course credit, please use this online credit transfer form. The College will review your previous course curriculum and learning outcomes and notify you once the transfer credit assessment is complete. (Note: approved internal and external credits may impact your eligibility for OSAP or external funding, as well as for the Dean’s Honour Roll).
PLEASE NOTE: Dates may vary based on the start date of your program.
