The CMLPI is a program for military-connected students to gain leadership recognition on their co-curricular transcript resulting from a combination of their military training and co-curricular activities at Fanshawe. Upon graduation, a Leadership notation will be made on their credential and recognized as part of the graduation ceremony. All military members must be of good conduct for their period of qualifying service. Everyone who completes their respective program will receive the CMLPI3 certificate. Below is a list of requirements for each program type:

3-year Advanced Diploma 30 hours1 Complete BMQ, BMQ(L), DP1 and 16 months of service2
4-year Degree 40 hours1 Complete BMQ, BMQ(L), DP1 and 16 months of service2

2 Recruit solider / students must attend 75% scheduled training, complete Forces test, PWT, and IBTS in Year 3 and 4.

3 Soldiers and/or students who are the top candidates on a military course, have 100% attendance, have exceptional academic excellence, and demonstrate a high level of dedication of CCR may be recognized with: CMLPI certificate of distinction, CO or Bde Commander’s coin, Commander's commendation, Fanshawe College academic award, Fanshawe College President’s coin.
