Project overview
The MCSTPP initiative aims to explore the development of a learning-to-employment pathway for military-connected students entering the construction industry in Ontario. This initiative is made possible by Helmets to Hardhats in conjunction with Fanshawe College, Release Point Education and the Government of Ontario.
How it works
- Email mcc@fanshawec.ca to get started. In your email, please include your name, what your military connection is, which trades program(s) you may be interested in and which pathway (Listed below; 1, 2 or 3) you are interested in. Also include your MPRR if it is available.
- Eligible military-connected students (criteria listed below) should apply for an apprenticeship program of their choosing at Fanshawe College.
- Once accepted (or if already enrolled as a current student), our team will work with you to get you successfully placed into an on-the-job apprenticeship in collaboration with Helmets to Hardhats.
