Asian Heritage Month, celebrated in May, is a time to recognize the rich history, cultures, and contributions of Asian communities in Canada.
Nearly 1 in 5 people in Canada identify as having Asian ancestry. From art and science to business, education, and public service, Asian Canadians have shaped—and continue to shape—every part of life in this country.
As we celebrate, we also commit to learning, reflecting, and standing against anti-Asian racism in all its forms.
