Long Exposure Techniques - Microcredential

Learners will be taught the long exposure genre of photography, including how to use ND filters to create visual effects such as making water look like glass, waterfalls look like silk and clouds streak in the sky. Students require a DSLR or mirrorless medium wide-angle lens or macro-lens. This microcredential is for novice to advanced photographers who want to take their photography skills to the next level and for people who have tried these techniques but wish to improve their result Learning Outcomes: 1. Describe Long Exposure Photography and the visual effects that can be created. 2. List the equipment needed for long exposure images. 3. Apply the appropriate camera settings for long exposure images. 4. Demonstrate how to make clouds streak in the sky. 5. Demonstrate how to make water look like glass and silk. Total course hours - 6
