Magnetic resonance imaging, or MRI, is a noninvasive medical imaging test producing detailed images within the human body using large magnet and radio waves. Fanshawe's MRI program enables imaging practitioners to build upon their existing skillset to prepare them to practice MRI in Canada. The program offers a blend of the theoretical and clinical experience needed to effectively prepare students to write the national certification exam and advance their careers. The best part? The online program allows you to maintain employment while taking the program. Following two 15-week semesters, you’ll participate in a 15-week clinical practicum at an affiliated hospital site where you’ll further hone your skills. There is no better time to enter this exciting field. There is high demand for skilled and analytical MRI practitioners who are vital members of the health care team that provide the important information needed for diagnosing medical conditions.
