Your FANCard is your official identification card at Fanshawe College and all-access pass to Fanshawe resources including:

This is your student identification card. It will be required at exams and is accepted as formal identification while you're on campus.

Simply tap your FANCard when you board any LTC bus (for full-time post-secondary London Campus students – excluding apprenticeship, ACE, online and part-time students.

Your FANCard grants access for all after-hours building entrances as well as computer labs and program specific facilities.

Load your FANCard “Flex Plan” account with money that can be used for purchases at all food outlets at the London Campus, as well as purchases at the all the Fanshawe stores, photocopying, printing, library, and vending machines. Both you and your parents can add money to your Flex Plan by logging into the FANCard site.

All students living in residence have a Meal Plan account for food purchases at food outlets at the London Campus.  You can view your balance and transaction history online by logging into the FANCard site. Money cannot be added to the Meal Plan account over the web. To add money to your card please go to the College Retail Bookstore. Students can also set up a Flex Plan account (see Flex Plan details above).

The FANCard will be accepted by most pharmacies across Canada as a pay-direct drug card (for all full-time post-secondary students excluding international, apprenticeship, ACE and part-time students).

You can use this card to access our full service, state-of-the-art facility of wellness services and programs. Use the exercise equipment or attend group classes. Open seven days a week with some holiday exceptions. (For full-time post-secondary students. Others please visit the Wellness Centre for membership options).

How do I get my FANCard?

You will have your picture taken for your new FANCard. Government-issued photo identification is required for pick-up.

London Campus (Oxford St., Downtown, and South) Students:

  • Domestic Students can pick up your FANCard after you have paid your non-refundable tuition deposit.
  • International Students can pick up your FANCard after registration and your fees are paid in full.

London Oxford Street Campus

  • Students can pick up their FANCard in Room F1012 or in the Office of the Registrar (OOR) in Room E1012 at the respective hours noted below:

  • Starting on Saturday, January 11 (from 9 a.m. - 12 p.m.), all FANCard activity will return to London Campus at Oxford Street in the Office of the Registrar, Room E1012.

London Downtown Campus

  • Students can pick up their FANCard at 130 Dundas Street in the Downtown Campus Store (Room 121).

London South Campus

  • Students can go to the London South Campus on orientation day (Monday, January 6) and take their FANCard photo on campus. FANCards will be produced at London Campus (Oxford St.) and then be delivered to London South Campus for students to pick up any time on or after Wednesday, January 8.

Regional Campus Students:

FANCards will be issued at your specific campus (St. Thomas/Elgin, Simcoe/Norfolk, and Woodstock/Oxford Regional Campuses and the Huron/Bruce Regional Sites)

Online Program Students - Only:

Please follow these instructions to obtain your FANCard.

Returning Students:

Please continue using your existing FANCard from the previous term. It's still good!

As you can see, your FANCard is kind of a big deal. Make sure to keep it safe, don't share, puncture, crack or bend it. If you do happen to lose it, a replacement fee will apply.

(Replacement card fee will be $25.00 beginning September 1, 2019.)
