Register with Accessibility Services

01
Compile your disability documentation

When filling out the registration form in step 3, you will be asked to submit disability documentation. You can get started preparing this information ahead of time!

If you do not have documentation at this time but have a disability or suspected disability, please skip to Step 2. You can still meet with an Accessibility Counsellor to discuss your situation and they can advise you on your options for obtaining the necessary documentation for us to support you. Interim accommodations could be explored while you are working on getting your documentation to us.

For students applying to OSAP
Documentation confirming a disability needs to be submitted to Counselling and Accessibility Services. Please have a regulated health professional complete the OSAP Disability Verification Form.

For students not applying for or receiving OSAP funding
Documentation confirming a disability needs to be submitted to Counselling and Accessibility Services. Please have a regulated health professional complete the Confidential Disability Information Form.

02
Pay your tuition deposit

In order to register with Accessibility Services, first you will need to pay your non-refundable $250 tuition deposit to Fanshawe. This gives you access to FanshaweOnline (FOL), where you can access the registration form. If you are a current student, you can skip to step 3.

03
Submit your registration form

As soon as you have paid your non-refundable deposit to Fanshawe, and your FanshaweOnline (FOL) account is activated:

  1. Log in FanshaweOnline.ca
  2. Click the College Services menu item and then Accessibility Online Services.
  3. Complete the registration form.
  4. Press “Register” and follow the instructions.

The sooner your accessibility registration form is received, the sooner you will be connected with your Accessibility Services Counsellor to discuss your needs and plan your accommodations for the coming year.

September is our busiest month for student appointments. Waiting until September to register can mean waiting several weeks before you can meet with your Accessibility Counsellor to set up your accommodations and services.
