Supervisory & Leadership Basics

A common assumption is that high performing individuals will transition easily from being a team member to a supervisor/team leader, but effective leadership and management require a diverse skill set. The Supervisor & Leadership Basics microcredential provides those who supervise or lead teams with strategies for increasing their personal effectiveness as well as their team's overall performance. Through reflective practice and application of practical tools, participants will improve their ability to communicate, problem-solve, manage pressure, build trust and improve overall output by leveraging personal strengths of team members.
