Desktop publishers use computer software to produce publication-ready material such as books, business cards, calendars, magazines, newsletters, and newspapers, packaging, slides and tickets. This program will equip you with an appreciation of the printing process through all of the printing stages. You will also gain a sound working knowledge of various graphic and layout software programs.

|This course will develop the student's design and image creation skills using Adobe Photoshop. Students will be introduced to the tools and commands of this extremely popular digital imaging/web image program. Students will learn how to quickly change font or photo size and how to rearrange elements within a page.
