Overview

Take your teaching career global with Fanshawe’s Teaching English as a Second Language program! You’ll develop professional expertise and gain the vital intercultural communication skills needed to connect with diverse adult learners in Canada or overseas. Enjoy flexible, fully online courses – both synchronous and asynchronous – and a face-to-face practicum to translate theory into practice (arranged practicum in London, Ontario, and support provided for other locations). This dynamic program meets TESL Ontario and TESL Canada Standard Two, ensuring you graduate with the credentials and cultural awareness to teach English in today’s global classrooms.
