Laboratory Skills Fundamentals is designed to provide participants with a fundamental understanding of basic laboratory skills and techniques. Through a hands-on practical approach, participants will gain proficiency in industry related lab equipment and essential laboratory tasks. The course aims to equip participants with the foundational skills necessary for success in various laboratory settings. Topics within Laboratory Skills Fundamentals will focus on safety, pipetting techniques, measurement and volume, dilutions, quality control, and data recording.

Through a hands-on practical approach, participants will gain proficiency in industry related lab equipment and essential laboratory tasks. The course aims to equip participants with the foundational skills necessary for success in various laboratory settings. CHEM-1020Analytical Chemistry: Chromatography
Analytical Chemistry: Chromatography is designed to provide participants seeking practical expertise in utilizing chromatography techniques within an industrial context. Participants will delve into the application of chromatography techniques in pharmaceuticals, environmental analysis, and biotechnology, with a focus on method validation. The microcredential delivers a balance of theoretical knowledge and demonstration, ensuring participants are equipped with the skills necessary for success in a laboratory setting. This microcredential aims to cultivate a high level of competency in participants by providing practical skills in instrument operation, method optimization, and real-world applications.
