Students will develop an understanding of the risk management process, and its costs and benefits to an organization. This course focuses on identifying and analyzing loss exposures in the areas of property, liability, management, personnel and net income. Students will also be introduced to forecasting and understanding and applying cash flow analysis.

This course is the introductory level for Japanese language learning. Through grammar structuring and pronunciation practice students will be able to communicate at a basic level in the language. Students will also learn the first two Japanese alphabets - Hiragana and Katakana. These skills will provide a base for students wanting to gain proficiency in this unique and challenging language.
