Advance your accounting diploma by completing an additional year of study to earn the Business Administration – Accounting Advanced Diploma. This program emphasizes hands-on, case-based learning that mirrors real workplace challenges and helps sharpen your decision-making skills. With this credential, you’ll be prepared for rewarding roles in corporate accounting, public practice, or government sectors.
Once you graduate, you will be eligible for exemptions from the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) papers F1, F4 and F6
.
Further, graduates wishing to pursue the Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation may also consider continuing their education beyond their Advanced Diploma and secure a third credential through Fanshawe’s Honours Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting) Degree, a CPA accredited program.

Graduates of Fanshawe’s Business Administration Accounting program will be qualified candidates for in-demand bookkeeping jobs, as well as a variety of entry and mid-level accounting roles within the government and corporate sectors.

Accounting Clerk - maintain and operate company accounting programs including accurately maintaining the accounts payable and receivable ledgers, cheque preparation, deposit preparation and recording, bank reconciliations and other accounting functions.
Financial Operations Assistant - ensures effective and efficient control of accounting practices including research and problem solving of discrepancies; and perform administrative support for the accounting division of government or corporate placements.
