Electronics and Embedded Systems Development is a two-year Ontario college graduate program designed to build on students' theoretical knowledge on electrical engineering and provides training on electrical technologies, embedded systems and computer-aided design. Graduates will be prepared for the workforce after completing a capstone project where students have the opportunity to design, implement and manage real-world solutions.
Building Renovation Technology is a three-year advanced diploma program with a co-operative education component. Students will learn to plan, implement, and lead building and renovation projects. Graduates of this program will be equipped with proven skills through two co-op education work terms.
The Carpentry and Renovation Technician two-year college diploma program combines in-class learning with two co-operative education work terms. Students will learn the skills to handle tools, read blueprints, material methods, and construction practices. Graduates will also gain advanced skills in leadership and management through the study and application of quantity surveying, estimating, small business operation, scheduling, and property development.
Fanshawe's Heating, Refrigeration and Air Conditioning (Co-op) Technician program prepares you for employment by teaching you multiple skills and a co-op opportunity to put your skills in action. You'll learn how to view a building as a system and how to design, test, install and service mechanical, heating and cooling equipment. You’ll also explore hands-on lab work and theory.
Architectural Technology is a three-year Ontario college advanced diploma program. Students will learn the principles of building design, contemporary building methods, and structural and environmental engineering. Graduates of this program will bring their knowledge and experience through a co-op program to their career as an architectural technologist.
