Supporting your Learning Needs

Accessibility Services provides support to students who identify a disability and request assistance. Students with disabilities take part in courses with classmates, acquire the same knowledge and skills, but may require individualized approaches to learn and demonstrate knowledge. Your first step is to register with accessibility services.

FANCard

You can start the process for your FANCard as soon as you’ve paid. We encourage you to take these steps as soon as you can to avoid any delays leading to the start of your program. If your program includes a bus pass your student card will allow you access to ride any bus in the LTC. You will use the same card throughout your program (even if you change programs) so be sure to keep it in a safe place in between terms.

Community and Belonging

We strive for diverse and inclusive campuses where all our students feel like they belong. Explore special supports for international students and discover pride at Fanshawe. We have a vibrant Indigenous community and whether you're Status or Non-Status First Nations, Métis or Inuit, the Institute of Indigenous Learning is waiting to welcome you.

Class Schedules

Class schedules are typically available 6 weeks before the start of the term through WebAdvisor. Full-time students will be automatically registered in all mandatory courses. Unless you are in General Arts & Science, the only courses you will select are electives. Your schedule will outline the times and locations of each class, including whether a class is scheduled to be online or in-person.

Course Materials

A list of required and recommended materials are typically available a week following the release of your class schedule. Find that list and order your materials online through Retail Services!

If you are studying fully online you can request a FANCard. You will need to pick-up your card in person because your FANCard is your official Fanshawe identification card and cannot be mailed to you. Please note that your tuition fees do not include a bus pass.

Online Tools

There are a few online resources that you will use at different points of your student experience. Learn all about the online tools available.
